— Tara McGale

Tara graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast with a Bachelor of Laws in 2007 and took up her place at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies later that year. Tara was admitted to the roll of Solicitors in September 2009 having successfully completed her apprenticeship.

Tara’s main area of work is in the defence of claims arising from road traffic accidents however she is also experienced in litigation arising from accidents at work and occupier’s liability.

As well as Tara’s role in Civil Defence litigation, she is also involved in developing the Fraud Department within the firm. Tara’s investigation of fraudulent claims focuses on the possible discrepancies between a claimant’s version of events and the information which may be available. Tara’s work helps to minimise the impact of fraudulent claims on the cost of insurance policies throughout Northern Ireland.
