— John Guerin

For the employee, John advises clients in relation to the Statutory Grievance Procedures and has successfully represented employee clients in Tribunal proceedings for unfair dismissal, disability discrimination, sex discrimination and sexual orientation discrimination.

John also advises the Royal College of Nursing and represents Nurses involved in professional conduct and employment matters. John has also represented Nurses who have been reported to the Department of Health (POCVA) for inclusion on the Disqualification from Working with Vulnerable Adults (DWVA) list and Disqualification from Working with Children list (DWC) lists.

John has also delivered public lectures on Employment Law and regularly lectures to the Royal College of Nursing.

Another area of expertise of John is Litigation for both Plaintiff and Defence. John has conducted litigation in both the High Court and County Court for a variety of Insurance Companies, including AXA, Norwich Union, Zurich, HSBC and the Education and Library Boards.

In his spare time John likes to get away from the office, travels extensively and is a member of the Belvoir Park Golf Club in Belfast.
