Cormac successfully graduated with Honours in Law from Queen’s University, Belfast in 2005. He then proceeded directly to the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queens before being admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2007. In the time since his admission to the Roll Cormac has worked primarily in the fields of defence litigation and conveyancing, although he has also obtained experience in relation to debt recovery, probate and criminal matters.

He has engaged in both the purchase and sale of properties for North and West Housing Housing Association Limited and dealt with security work on behalf of Bank of Ireland. He has a number of interests, both sporting and otherwise, away from his work and he is currently an active member of the G.A.A.. He is also a keen soccer player and has been involved in playing as an amateur in his local league.
