Having obtained her degree in Law from Queens University, Belfast Alison commenced her professional studies at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in 2004. Alison was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2005 after graduating first in her class from the IPLS, receiving the prestigious Thomasena McKinney prize for overall best solicitor student.

Alison’s workload in Campbell Fitzpatrick is primarily focused on civil defence litigation for insurance, self-funded and corporate clients. As well as dealing with a large number of road traffic claims Alison has a particular interest in defending public and employer liability claims and works with a variety of employers, ranging from construction firms to a major restaurant chain.

Alison’s work with private and corporate clients extends to all aspects of commercial and domestic conveyancing. In particular, Alison has dealt with the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold commercial properties and has advised clients on commercial leases.

Alison also has an interest in dealing with both contested and non-contested debt recovery actions, where the earliest possible opportunity Alison tailors the appropriate method of recovery to the nature of the particular debt.
