Aine graduated from Queen's University, Belfast in 2006 with honours in law and french. As part of her degree she spent a year studying at L'Universite des Sciences Sociales in Toulouse, focusing in particular on European Union and administrative law. She then went on to obtain an LLM with Distinction in Human Rights and Criminal Justice from Queen's, and has a particular interest in criminal justice issues in Northern Ireland. Her dissertation was based on the issue of racism against the migrant worker community in Northern Ireland. In 2007 Aine began her studies at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies. She was awarded the IPLS Owen Catchpole Prize for solicitor advocacy.

Aine began working in Campbell Fitzpatrick as a trainee solicitor in September 2007. She now works primarily in the firm’s clinical negligence department, working closely with Partner, Patrick Mullarkey. She advises clients on a range of queries arising out of this specialist area of the law including access to medical notes and records, complaints procedures, inquests and pursuing clinical negligence litigation.

Aine also has experience working in the field of defence litigation, particularly dealing with road traffic accidents and personal injury claims as well as public liability matters for a wide range of clients.
